Message	Especially since there is no real quantifiable evidence beyond hearsay. But I was searching recently and recall a post where Bernie questioned why the OP had changed out his original trans fluid in his new 98-spec trans. And I'd want further verification than Aliaz relaying info from Mike Smith; they're both smart guys, but there isn't any proof regarding the original trans fluid being no good for the trans. Also, there's this post directly below the one Ali linked, which indicates Nissan ships with standard gear oil designed for the trans. Essentially you're suggesting that Nissan sells a transmission full of bad fluid. Most posts I read indicated there was a problem with the trans no matter what fluid is used.
